Wood

Steve helped cut up a fallen tree for firewood.  It was a cold, physical job.  He loved it.

Old York Cellars

On a lovely 60 degree day, we visited Old York Cellars for a wine tasting and photos with Santa.

Snow

When we arrived in NJ there was snow.  When we left it was all gone.  By the end of today, NJ will be buried in snow.

Danger Derby

Mom, Steve, and I attended the Danger Derby.  It's like a pinewood derby, but more dangerous.

The Tardis got toasty during the race

We stayed as long as Grant could stand it.  It was very cold, and he (as it turns out) was getting sick.  He was awarded the winning cantaloupe (from the heat between the cantaloupe, coconut, watermelon, and cabbage) because he has an in with one of the race organizers (Michael Schliefke, Anna's art teacher).

Tourist Stuff

Joe, my HP co-worker, and I have spent most of the weekend wandering around eating and drinking.  The atmosphere was very pleasant.  I think in the summer the crowds would be a bit much for me.

stopped for a very thorough inspection (and then we spied
